MET Studio were commissioned by experiential consultant CGA to work in close collaboration on visitor engagement proposals for a new brand experience centre for Hyundai in Seoul, South Korea.
The experience centre, originally designed by Delugan Meissl Associated Architects and ATELIER BRÜCKNER, takes visitors on an immersive and highly interactive journey through the design, manufacture and driving of the product but also looks at the History and cultural values of the brand and how it is an integral part of South Korean culture and commerce.
Working closely with CGA and Hyundai, MET Studio proposed a series of experiential add-ons that would further enhance the visitors engagement with the content both inside and outside of the experience center. To do this a rigorous analysis of the brand and its core values was undertaken. Through a series of field trips, audience Q&A’s and client workshops, in conjunction with CGA, key customer data was gathered to ensure that all the creative design ideas put forward had the brand and the story at their heart and ensured that the uniqueness and sprit of the Hyundai identity was reflected within the experience
