Project Details

The Conflicts of Interest exhibition at the National Army Museum profiles 30 years of British Army conflict involvement, and the professional and personal toll it takes on the soldiers, the victims and their families.

Using this duality of perspective, the look and feel of this exhibition is deliberately graphic, adopting devices used in media (print and broadcast) to showcase the messages projected to people at home, and insider tabloids and military graphics to convey the perspective of soldiers in the field.

The tone of the exhibition is a juxtaposition of brashness and tenderness creating a provocative and impactful exhibition environment, using strong contrast and collage photography to weave together the chaos and intricacies of conflict.
