MET Studio’s installations for the IET open to the public and its members
The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in London has opened its doors for the first time since July 2013 following a £30 million refurbishment. MET have designed and built a series of installations at its headquarters in Savoy Place to capture the past, present and future of engineering.
These include a digital kinetic chandelier hung in the reception which represent the 5 sectors of the IET, live video walls on the second floor, full-height sculpture displays in the stairwells that show famous IET members, and a show wall featuring 100 engineering ideas that have changed the world, as voted for by IET members.
