MET Studio’s Climate Control exhibition at the Manchester Museum, opened by Dame Vivienne Westwood, up for multiple awards at Blueprint and FX Awards 2016
MET’s Climate Control exhibition at the Manchester Museum, opened by Dame Vivienne Westwood, has been nominated for a Blueprint Award in the “Best Small Project” category and for FX Awards in “UK Project of the Year” and “Best Museum and Exhibition Space” categories. More information on the project can be found on the following link – http://www.metstudio.com/work/climate-control-exhibition-design/
‘We always aim to create impactful and memorable experiences. Through close collaboration with MET we have produced exhibitions that take visitors far beyond the role of spectators, but enable them to take part, sharing their ideas and telling us, and one another, what matters to them. By giving visitors a voice in the exhibitions, we believe that we have created a space that promotes civic participation around an issue of local and global concern.’ said Henry McGhie, curator of the exhibition.
