The
Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore commissioned
MET Studio Design to design and install a S$4.2
million exhibition on the urban planning of Singapore.
The URA is responsible for the ongoing planning
of Singapore. As it also deals with daily issues
such as Singapore’s traffic management, building
car parks and issuing parking fines the need for
a visitor centre was identified in order to counteract
a negative image and communicate the good work done
by the URA. The 1500 sqm centre is located on the
first and second floors of the new URA headquarters
building in central Singapore.
