MET Studio were commissioned by Birmingham City Council in 1997 to design four science based galleries for the new Thinktank project in Birmingham, UK. These galleries - ‘Things About Me’, ‘Wild Life’, ‘Medicine Matters’ and 'The Street/Science Around Us’ covered a wide range of topics from the science, practical and theoretical, in objects that we use in our everyday lives, through to the migratory habits of birds and mammals. The ‘Things About Me’ gallery was one of two sponsored by the Wellcome Trust and explained the workings of the human body to a 7-10 year old audience.
