MET Studio created a spectacular 360 degree multi-media environment for NMNS which introduced visitors to the themes of the Museum’s other galleries – inspiring them to go and make their own voyage of discovery. Visitors are treated to one of three dynamic multi-media shows on a seven-metre high 360 degree cyclorama with mechanical screens circulating and dropping down to create multi-layered images. Over 3000 images are displayed thanks to 96 slide projectors, 12 video projectors, a laser graphics system and over 100 theatre lights – all co-ordinated by a bespoke computer control system.
