In
2000 MET Studio were commissioned by CDL, Singapore’s
largest property developer, to design a Customer
Centre in the heart of the city’s business
district. The centre is the focal point of the CDL’s
face to face contact with its clients and provides
a hub for the marketing activities of their new
development sites around Singapore. Taking advantage
of a long double height glass frontage facing a
busy thoroughfare, MET Studio have created a huge
internally illuminated internal façade that
acts as both ‘attractor’ and ‘billboard’.
Changing lighting effects are programmed to the
time of day and day of the week.
